Dr. Roy L. Douthitt (Senior Professional Member)

About Us

Dr. Douthitt was the first member of his family to graduate from high school. He understands the value of education to families and individuals.

With a degree is in Political Science he served in the Peace Corps and that experience lead to a career in the development of educational programs on three continents.

His education includes an MA in TEFL from the American University in Cairo, an MA in Early Childhood Education, and a PhD in International-Intercultural Development Education from Florida State University.

He has directly participated in developing new K-12 private schools, academies and universities including, Kuwait University, Western Carolina University, Sultan Qaboos University, The College of Petroleum and Minerals, Al Ain University, Changzhou Trina International School, The Egyptian Air Force Academy, and the QSI International School of Chongqing. He is currently focused on the establishment of a new American international schooling company, and a non-profit foundation in North Carolina.

He has three grown children, two of whom were born abroad.
