About Us

STREETS INTERNATIONAL is an innovative NGO social enterprise-US 501(c)(3)- that prepares vulnerable, orphaned, trafficked, out-of-school, and disadvantaged young people for professional careers in the hospitality and tourism industries. Since opening in 2009, the Hoi An-based Training Center, Oodles of Noodles culinary tours, and Noodle House successfully graduated over 350 program participants.

STREETS provides a comprehensive 14-month culinary and hospitality training program. All the participants receive extensive classroom instruction and practical hands-on apprentice experience in international cooking or hospitality service. Comprehensive English language and Life Skills instruction is also part of the program.

The centralized Hoi An campus includes the Oodles of Noodles culinary tours, Noodle House, Training Center, Administrative Offices, and Dormitory Housing.

For those selected to come to STREETS, daily living, including meals, clothing, supervised housing, health examinations, vaccinations, active social support, and a monthly allowance, are provided along with the training and apprenticing.

We are very proud that there is 100% employment at international hotels and resorts upon graduation.

The covid pandemic necessitated Hoi An operations to be suspended. STREETS responded to this crisis by creating a Covid Emergency Relief Fund and supported over 600 recipients, including 200 single moms and 350 children. In 2021, AmCham honored this STREETS initiative with an NGO Leadership Award.
